24MX Supercross

Overview

The 2016 24MX International Supercross and Freestyle event ran on 7 to 8 October at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, with world class Supercross and Freestyle Motocross athletes. The football pitch was transformed into a full race track for two nights of racing. I worked in a small team of three and my main role was to create and manage every piece of marketing and communication. That meant advertising, ticketing materials, event programmes, website content and updates, video announcements, and all social channels, both paid and organic. As the event drew closer my responsibilities grew. I handled rider flights and travel logistics, helped with track build tasks, hosted VIPs and riders, and even designed and produced the trophies. It was a fast, hands on production where I moved between creative, comms, and on the ground delivery.

Conclusion

A profitable event with more than 12,000 attendees, featuring strong racing, and clean delivery across marketing, communication, and operations. A major learning curve for me that sharpened my hands on, resourceful, fast paced skills.
